We are on a hunt for an experienced QA Lead who will help us deliver stable and high quality mission critical software products to our clients. We are looking for someone who is not afraid to take ownership of the software quality across the SDLC area in Veovo and who will help us define and implement a software quality strategy. You will be working mainly within our Poland team in Wrocław but you will also be engaging with and influencing our wider development teams in New Zealand and Denmark. You will have a lot of independence and you will have the possibility to shape your working environment. We want you to make a difference

In this role you can expect to: 

Be responsible for ensuring we deliver high quality software products to our clients Work within a small, high performing team (5 developers, product owner and technical lead) using Agile/SCRUM methodologies Create test strategies and test plans for products and features Design, build and maintain a testing framework by choosing the right tools and implementing best practice QA frameworks and processes Work closely with developers and architects and be involved in what they are creating Work in a modern tech stack and architecture - some of the technologies we use include Angular, .Net, Kubernetes, AWS & many more Coach and mentor others on best practices, ensure processes are implemented, followed and reported on Research new technologies, propose and implement improvements to existing technology solutions

What you need to be successful:

An extensive experience in software testing, its processes and best practices Knowledge of software testing tools and methodologies Ability to influence others A relentless drive to learn new technologies, develop new skills and continually improve processes Very good level of English - you should able to communicate with important stakeholders within an organisation and discuss complex topics Good communication skills - you won’t be afraid to speak your mind when it comes to expressing your own ideas, thoughts and suggestions on new tools and tech  Common sense to achieve practical outcomes Managerial / Leadership experience advantageous but not strictly required
