Finance Administrator
Warsaw
Job Summary:
The Finance Administrator will join Client Finance dedicated Team. The candidate will be responsible for financial and accounting support for the Client portfolio. Candidate will perform month end close activities, reconciliations and checks for the balance sheet accounts and key financial metrics, will review costs, perform monthly bookings, follow up on discrepancies and variances resolution as well as drive improvements and efficiencies in the financial and reporting processes.
The Finance Administrator will be working closely with the Finance Performance Lead , external Client and CBRE Finance Teams located across EMEA.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide meaningful support for finance and cost management for EMEA Real Estate Global Workplace Operation
Coordinate with and support Client internal teams in the postings, month-end closing, and accrual booking processes
Checking discrepancies in Foreign & Exchange, General Ledgers, Tax codes, Asset classes, OPEX - CAPEX classification, Postings, Accruals
In case of discrepancies take necessary action to correct them and follow up on the correction
Prepare periodical performance and closing reports and provide financial follow-up
Prepare Journal Vouchers
Prepare ad-hoc reporting and perform additional job duties as requested by the Client team/Line Manager
Requirements:
University degree in finance and accounting (Finance, Economics, Accounting or similar)
Fluent in English in speaking and writing
At least three years of finance/accounting professional experience
Very good Excel data manipulation skills
SAP finance modules would be an advantage
Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
Analytical, planning, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work alone as well as part of a team
Focused on accuracy
Logical thinking

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from a four-year college or university in a business related field. Some prior related work experience preferred but not required.

COMMUNICATION SKILLS
Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to customers. Ability to effectively present information to supervisors and finance management.
FINANCIAL KNOWLEDGE
Requires knowledge of basic financial terms, concepts and accounting principles.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret financial information and the ability to accurately explain/report activity in verbal and written communications. Requires intermediate analytical skills.
OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES
Computer skills, including specific knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.). Strong work ethic and adaptable.
SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY
Decisions made with understanding of procedures and company policies to achieve set results and deadlines. Responsible for setting own project deadlines. Errors in judgment may cause short-term impact to co-workers and supervisor.
