Global Legal Counsel (Commercial Contracts)
In Poland - WarsawWe are seeking a dynamic and tech-savvy Commercial Lawyer to join our team as Global Legal Counsel. The ideal candidate will possess 5-7 years of post-qualification experience (PQE), with a strong background in supporting the implementation of AI-based Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) systems and reviewing standardized commercial contracts globally. Fluency in English is required, and proficiency in German or another EU language is a plus. Prior in-house experience or experience in a leading international law firm is highly desirable.

Provide expert legal support for the implementation and ongoing use of an AI-based CLM system, ensuring it aligns with global standards and company policies. Review, draft, and negotiate a wide range of standardized commercial contracts on a global scale, including NDAs, DPAs and engagement letters. Advise on legal risks, business strategies, and other issues related to commercial contracts, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including business units, procurement, IT, and senior management, to ensure contracts meet organizational objectives. Develop and maintain contract templates, playbooks, and guidelines to streamline the contract review process and promote best practices. Stay current with relevant laws, regulations, and industry trends affecting commercial contracts and AI-based systems. Assist in the development and delivery of training programs on contract drafting, use of AI tools and contract management for internal teams. Your profile: Master’s degree in Law (LLB). 5-7 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) in commercial law. Fluency in English is mandatory. Proficiency in German or another EU language is a significant advantage. Prior in-house experience or experience with a leading international law firm is highly desirable. Strong experience in implementing and supporting AI-based CLM systems. Excellent knowledge of commercial contract law and practices. Strong analytical, negotiation, and drafting skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Tech-savvy with a keen interest in leveraging technology to improve legal processes.
