Responsibilities

  • The Master Data Analyst works closely with other members of the MDM team in collaboration with other functions to ensure quality, compliance, governance regarding Master Data creation and maintenance across BVI platforms

  • Support the strategic direction of the business and establish priorities for the maintenance and governance of Master Data

  • The scope of master data, as well as relevant business rules/policies, includes demand planning, master scheduling, production planning, material purchasing, and logistics (transportation and warehousing)

  • Develops and communicates the Data Analytics strategy

  • Determines customer requirements and translate requirements into reports for analysis

  • Provides analysis and tracking of data through ongoing reporting, ad hoc analysis, and partnership to share insights and ensure understanding within the business

  • Uses data to highlight key organization trends and collaborate with businesses to identify causes, costs, and potential interventions/solutions

  • Participates in periodic audits and analyses to ensure accuracy, optimization of systems and reporting as well as new analytic opportunities

  • Prepares analytics and insights across the department as well as provide operational efficiency and optimization within the department

 

Requirements

  • Degree in IT or Engineering or equivalent industry experience

  • Minimum 3-5 years’ experience troubleshooting hardware and software issues and reporting using an incident reporting system

  • PLM and master data management business process and foundational concept knowledge

  • Evolving the efficiency of the DevOps and Test Automation models

  • Sales Force & RIM system experience (preferred)

  • Life Sciences, Medical Device Manufacturing Industry experience (highly desired)

  • Strong computer skills (databases)
