Your tasks and responsibilities:
You focus on optimizing the global Supply ChainNetwork with its warehouses and transportation lanes & modalities tomaximize our customer performance while minimizing the total logistics spend. You conduct assessments and IT-based networksimulations (incl. the center of gravity approach) of the current Supply Chainsetup, footprint, and transportation management, with a particular focus onutilizing optimization tools to identify opportunities for improvement. You are responsible for coordinating theefficient and accurate collection of information, optimizing the Supply Chainmodel, reviewing the resulting output, and collaborating with relevant teams toassess the operational feasibility based on the proposed modifications. You support the management in evaluating anddesigning the future operating model for the Logistics Network Design You will analyze vast amounts of Supply Chaindata to gain insights into the areas where the supply chain can be optimized. You prepare management decision proposals basedon data-driven simulation results including visualization and business casecalculations. You lead initiatives and projects on one's ownresponsibility considering budget-, time-, quality- and process-requirements,supported by HPS-methodology. You check and regularly monitor the efficiency ofour global and regional Supply Chain Network design and initiate gap androot-cause analyses.Your qualification andexperience:
·You have in-depth knowledge in Supply ChainNetwork design processes and tools.
·You successfully finished a study in the areasof Logistics, Business Administration, Business Informatics, IndustrialEngineering, or similar.
·You have many years of professional experiencein service logistics and/or procurement logistics as well as strong experiencein managing complex projects related to warehousing, distribution,transportation, or process re-engineering.
·You have a high proficiency in the design ofnetwork solutions in the transport and warehouse environment.
·In addition, you can demonstrate a confidenthandling of all common MS Office applications (especially PowerPoint, PowerBI,Access and Excel), and have experience with SQL and other data analysis tools.
·You have a far-reaching understanding ofcustomers in the sense of an end-to-end supply chain orientation.
Your profile and your skills:
·As part of a globalteam, you are a team player and eager to integrate into an internationalenvironment across different locations. Therefore, you are very communicativeand fluent in the English language and ideally have also basic German languageskills.
·You have advancedanalytic skills and enjoy supply chain related analyses.
·You think in a verycustomer-oriented way and in end-to-end process chains from the supplier to theend customer.
·You have strongcommunication skills on different organizational levels.
·With your new andinnovative ideas, you will push the boundaries of how we think and act.
·You are willing totravel upon request and necessity (mainly to Germany but alsointercontinentally with approx. 15% of your working time)
·You are located inPoland.
