Huntsman is looking to recruit a Demand Planner to join our Global Business Service located in Krakow.Reporting to the EMEA Demand and Supply Planning Manager, you will own the demand plan for your market portfolio, creating and shaping the plan based on internal and external demand signals. You will coordinate inputs from commercial and marketing stakeholders, critically challenge assumptions, and communicate demand plan evolutions to supply planning teams and operations. It is a regional position dedicated for EMEA region. The role is based in Krakow with the ability to work in a hybrid model. 

As the Demand Planner you will:

Own the 12-month demand plan for assigned markets.

Gather and analyze demand-affecting information to finalize customer-level plans.

Communicate demand plan changes to supply planning and other key stakeholders.

Maintain strong communication with supply planners to guide allocation, replenishments, and short-term changes.

Align with commercial and finance teams on supply and revenue plan impacts.

Reflect supply constraints in the demand plan accurately and timely.

Develop and implement mitigation plans for supply issues, reaching consensus with commercial teams.

Propose and monitor regional allocations for constrained products, taking action when deviations occur.

Prepare and oversee allocation plans during product shortages per commercial or legal guidelines.

Be able to generate statistical forecasts and compare accuracy against commercially provided forecasts.

Collaborate with demand planners in other regions.

Review and determine the necessity and value of safety stock.

Lead monthly demand review meetings and challenge sales and marketing inputs.

Assess risks and opportunities related to the demand plan.

Interpret and refine statistical forecasts to improve performance and align with sales objectives.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Supply Chain, Business, or Engineering required. Masters degree is an advantage.

2-5 years of professional experience in demand planning, preferably in the international environment. 

Commercial exposure with a proven track record in demand planning/forecasting.

Understanding of supply planning, production planning, new product introduction, and material planning.

Profound knowledge and experience in S&OP or IBP processes are beneficial.

Fluency in English required for effective collaboration with stakeholders

SAP software process knowledge is an advantage.

High digital literacy and proficiency in IT tools (Excel, PowerBI) is required. 

Excellent coordination, organizational, and problem solving skills.

Strong communication skills to deliver both detailed solutions and the big picture.

Strong interpersonal skills and team oriented.

High analytical skills based on data.

Good ability to understand the market in which the company operates.
