The Commercial Strategy and Innovation , part of the Chief Business Innovation Office organization, is uniquely positioned within Pfizer to facilitate robust investment and trade-off decisions for the clinical portfolio and to serve as an “early warning system” for potential issues that could impact decision-making.


What you offer


Intern in Competitive Intelligence department, under the guidance of CI internship mentors, will explore the nuances of the pharmaceutical market, trends, and gain practical insights into the operations of the Competitive Intelligence department, with the unique opportunity to engage with senior business leaders.
 

We are looking for interns who are final-year master's students or recent graduates with strong analytical and communication skills, curious about the developments in the global pharmaceutical industry and health care. Advanced English proficiency is required. May require non-standard work hours (US time zone).

The Competitive Intelligence Intern has strong ability to:

Analyze data and information as well as draw insights

Conduct secondary/online research with the use of various databases

Work independently (with limited supervision) and use own judgment to resolve moderately complex issues

Adapt quickly to new tools and methodologies, and a proactive approach to finding innovative solutions

Manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

Collaborate and work effectively in a team environment

Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); basic understanding of data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau) is a plus.

Personal qualities: communication skills, service oriented, highly collaborative, self-motivated, curious and results oriented, analytical skills, attention to detail.

What we offer

Hybrid work

Flexible mandatory contract: approximately 60-80 hours of work per month, individual adjustment to the intern's needs possible.

Paid internship, minimum 3 months with the possibility of extension (approx. 240 hours).

Shortlisted applicants will then be provided with a brief case study to complete and will be invited to participate in an interview conducted in English.
