Business Performance Analyst

Huntsman is looking to recruit a Business Performance Analyst to join our Global Business Service located in Krakow. Your role involves collecting and analyzing data from various sources to produce accurate reports and dashboards. You will play a crucial role in optimizing the month-end closing process and conducting variance analysis to identify key trends. The selected candidate will report to the FP&A Manager. The role is based in Krakow with the ability to work in a hybrid model.

As the Business Performance Analyst, you will:

Data Collection and Analysis to produce accurate and timely reports by collecting data from a variety of standard sources creating insightful reports and analysis to assist the business in decision making.

Optimize month end closing process to guarantee timely closing, whilst also playing a key role in MEC through the coordination and reporting with other functions.

Conduct variance analysis to compare actual performance against budget and forecasts, identifying key trends and insights.

Prepare dashboards to support various business initiatives and projects.

Participate in assessing the business case of proposed and current projects to help develop, review and implement.

Use data systems to find and access specific information whenever needed.

Support the creation and validation of master data quality checks with a view to identify and implement improvements wherever possible.

Work closely with regional and global teams to gather necessary information and provide financial insights.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in an Accounting, Finance, Controlling or Economics

Minimum 3-5 years of experience in finance, with a focus on reporting and analysis.

Proficiency in Excel and Power BI is a must.

Knowledge of SAP is a plus.

Fluency in English is essential.

Natural curiosity and a willingness to learn and develop in financial analysis.

Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.

Excellent communication skills and able to build strong working relationships with, and influence, colleagues in multiple locations.

Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
