The task to be carried out

The roll-out of the Threat Modelling project to close General Internal Audit (GIA).

We are seeking a Senior Threat Modelling Specialist who will take an active role in the structured approach of identifying and prioritizing potential threats to our systems. This role involves determining the value that potential mitigations would have in reducing or neutralizing those threats.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct threat modeling to identify potential attack vectors.

Analyze network, data flow, and architectural diagrams.

Assess risks associated with identified threats and prioritize risks based on their impact and likelihood.

Develop and recommend strategies to mitigate risks.

Collaborate with technical teams to implement security controls.

Work closely with IT, security, and business teams.

Maintain documentation of threat models, risk assessments, and mitigation plans.

Improve threat modeling methodologies and tools.

Utilize knowledge of cyber threats, and threat actors.

Provide technical guidance on networking technologies and security implications.

Requirements:

Experience interpreting networking, data flow, and architectural diagrams to identify vectors an adversary may seek to exploit.

Detailed knowledge of cyber threats, threat actors and the tactics, techniques, and procedures commonly used by cyber adversaries.

Understanding networking technologies.
