Data Architect

We are looking for experienced Data Architect, who will join American project. The product is a global platform that works in the field of health care on medical care, scientific articles, and publications. The product is currently in desktop version format and is being transferred to the cloud. 

Full time position. Remote work.Start Date: 01/08/2024 (could be changed)End Date: 31/12/2024 (could be prolongate)

 

Duties

  • Overall data architecture design and improvements based on the current set of core technologies – Snowflake, DBT, Fivetran, PowerBI
  • Snowflake governance leadership – access model, schemas, etc
  • Data modeling contribution - logical and physical data models
  • Data Governance collaboration – data quality, data catalog, etc
  • Ability to step into data engineer/analyst duties when needed

Requirements

    • 3+ years of experience as a Data Architect (or comparable roles).
    • Deep knowledge of Snowflake.
    • Hands-on experience with DBT.
    • Expertise in data modeling (logical and physical).
    • Experience with Fivetran (desirable, optional).
    • Ability to challenge established approaches/patterns to support future business changes and potential new business domains.
    Other skills:
    • English – Upper Intermediate level
    • Good communication skills (both verbal and written)
    • Ability to work in a global, multi-cultural, multi-national company
    • Ability to lead conversations with both technical and business representatives
    • Proven ability to work both independently and as part of an international project team
