The Impact You’ll Make in this Role  

As an  RTR Specialist – General Ledger, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world.

Here, you will make an impact by: 

Carrying out standard month-end closing activities with precision and independence, managing financial procedures for both SOX and non-SOX countries

Independently reconciling balance sheet accounts and upholding compliance with SOX and non-SOX regulations, and acting as an accounts reviewer for designated countries when necessary

Taking ownership of the most complex accounting challenges within the country's operations, including proactive communication, escalation, and persistent follow-up for issue resolution

Participating in internal and external audits, adeptly addressing audit inquiries, and preparing essential documentation for SOX controls

Ensuring accurate entry and management of financial transactions by maintaining detailed account records.

Your Skills and Expertise  

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M is looking for candidates who must have the following qualifications: 

Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited institution – major in Accounting, Finance, or similar

Work experience in RTR/accounting teams

Expert-Level accounting knowledge

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SAP

Advanced knowledge of English, both written and spoken.
