Responsibilities:
- Creating and adjusting AP processes taken over from the client;
- Monitoring supplier account balances and ensuring their timely settlement;
- Process invoices, expense reports, and payment requests in an accurate and timely manner, adhering to company policies and procedures;
- Maintain a strong understanding of German accounting regulations and compliance requirements, staying up-to-date with changes in the legal and regulatory landscape;
- Assist in month-end and year-end close processes, including preparing journal entries and reconciling accounts payable transactions;
- Prepare various financial reports and analyses related to accounts payable as required;
- Contribute to process improvements and automation initiatives within the accounts payable function.
Our requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Accounts Payable;
- Fluent proficiency in German language (minimum B2 level) - mandatory requirement;
- Communicative proficiency in the English language;
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of MS Excel;
- Proficiency in SAP system (Fi/Co);
- Strong team player;
- Organizational skills and accuracy
