AP Associate - temporary replacement
Responsibilities:
Responsible for efficient and accurate processing of a high volume of AP transactions in a timely manner
Continuously monitor accounting and tax requirements in each country to ensure invoices are posted appropriately
Make any necessary VAT or other corrections to ensure all errors are corrected on time
Ensure downpayments are reviewed back to contracts
Follow up on invoices referred back from end users to AP queue (in collaboration with Helpdesk team)
Support Helpdesk team with queries, if needed, that should be minimal activity
Ensure robust compliance environment with SOX, internal controls, accounting policies and procedures
Requirements:
Undergraduate degree in Finance / Accounting or related nice to have
Experience working in AP positions - 1-2 years preferably
Basic computer skills (e.g. Microsoft Word, Excel and Access) and hands on experience with ERP systems (SAP / Oracle)
Fluency in written and oral English (minimum B2 level) is essential for this role
Customer focused with strong interpersonal and communication skills
