Benefit Street Partners ("BSP") is a leading credit-focused alternative asset management firm with approximately $76 billion in assets under management. Established in 2008, the BSP platform manages funds for institutions, high-net-worth and retail investors across various strategies including: private/opportunistic debt, liquid loans, high yield, special situations, long-short liquid credit and commercial real estate debt. What is the BSP Real Estate division responsible for?

Benefit Street Partners is seeking a bright, dynamic, and hard-working individual to join the Real Estate division. BSP’s real estate strategy focuses on originating and managing commercial mortgage loans across the country and in all segments of the market. BSP’s dedicated real estate team consists of over

80 professionals with origination and underwriting capabilities that enable it to generate proprietary deal flow.

What are the ongoing responsibilities of the BSP CRE FP&A Senior Associate?

Maintain internal databases to ensure accurate financial and operational reporting

Perform monthly validations to ensure data integrity

Assist in the implementation of new portfolio monitoring platforms

Create and maintain PowerBi reporting for the real estate division

Produce daily/weekly/monthly standardized reporting packages for distribution to senior management team

Assist in the preparation of ad hoc strategic analysis

What ideal qualifications, skills & experience would help someone to be successful?

4 years of experience in Financial Services. Real Estate industry is a plus

Experience in modeling and working with large amount of data is mandatory

Experience with Hyperion SmartView, ilevel or any other consolidation tools

Advanced experience in Excel

Accounting/Finance Major – Bachelors or higher

Attention to detail and organizational skills required
