This role sits within the newly created Global Compensation Centre of Excellence, working closely with Dyson’s Senior Reward Manager and reporting to the Global Head of Compensation. This role will also be working regularly with reward colleagues across the world including UK, Poland, Singapore, China, USA and Netherlands.

The successful candidate will be technically adept in Excel, with a strong interest in data visualisation and insights tools. We require someone who is comfortable with manipulating large data sets to support cyclical reward activity including salary review, annual bonus, salary range review, compensation benchmarking, pay trends analysis and ad hoc reward projects. This position is ideally suited to an experienced data analyst with an interest in starting or growing a career in Reward. 

Accountabilities

Collaborate with regional reward colleagues to review and submit data for external salary surveys. Support the annual review of Dyson’s salary ranges, ensuring robust tools are in place to compare external market data with internal benchmarks. Manage process for annual bonus accruals and participation, take a leading role in modelling costs and preparing calculations at year end. Model costs in preparation for Dyson’s annual salary review process and support the wider team through the annual salary review cycle. Working closely with employee systems, act as the reward team Workday superuser to ensure high quality compensation data is stored within Workday. This requires understanding compensation functionality within Workday, efficiently preparing EIB upload files, helping to resolve data quality issues at source and in the moment. Provision of dashboards and insights to monitor successful application of reward governance across the organisation and identify opportunities for improving compensation data management and decision making. Support and deliver a variety of reward projects/ ad hoc initiatives as required.

Skills / Experience

Experienced Excel practitioner, comfortable with Pivot tables, Complex Formulas, Tables and Charts, and strong interest in Macros/PowerPivot/VBA. Comfortable analysing and manipulating large volumes of data. High attention to detail and data accuracy. Experience of Workday (or SAP/Success Factors/Similar), and in particular knowledge of Advanced Compensation modules is desirable. Must be resilient and used to working in a dynamic sometimes fast paced environment. Experience of working with a variety of internal clients and external providers. Ability to think creatively and apply a practical business driven approach. Comfortable in the role of self-starter and also able to act a team player. An excellent communicator, able to sustain opinion yet flexible to adjust approach when needed.
