Job Position: Senior Analyst, Enterprise Analytics at Zendesk

We are looking for someone with a strong passion for data and the determination to provide data solutions and business insights within the Enterprise Analytics team at Zendesk. As a Senior Analyst, your role involves deeply understanding the current data challenges faced by GTM teams (Sales, Success, Marketing) within Zendesk and creating simple yet impactful visualizations, tools, and analysis to enhance customer engagement. This position reports to the Senior Manager, Enterprise Analytics and plays a crucial role in supporting GTM teams within the Enterprise Data & Analytics team.

What you will be doing daily:

  • Develop strong partnerships with key stakeholders in GTM teams to grasp their business strategies and goals.
  • Enhance business efficiency by creating, automating, and maintaining scalable processes, tools, and dashboards.
  • Empower GTM teams and EDA members through user-friendly tools, training, and documentation.
  • Identify areas for optimization through actionable analysis to provide valuable insights and recommendations to GTM leadership.
  • Conduct analysis using SQL queries to understand customer trends and business performance.
  • Work with extensive data from various sources to develop expertise in data connections and customer relations.
  • Measure and track improvements in customer engagement efficiency and ROI.

Requirements for the role:

  • BS/BA or equivalent in a quantitative field (e.g., math, statistics, engineering, economics, finance, computer science).
  • Proficient in SQL, experience with BigQuery is a plus.
  • Genuine passion for data, analytics, and data-driven decision-making.
  • Experience with Tableau or similar data visualization tools is highly desirable.
  • Analyze data with a curious mindset and strong business acumen.
  • Ability to present data visually to drive decision-making.
  • Strong team player with excellent relationship-building and communication skills.
  • Experience in Agile/Scrum development is an advantage.
