About the project:
CFO Shared Services (CFOSS) is our strategic initiative designed to streamline and enhance the efficiency of our operations across CFO divisions. By centralizing platforms, services, and expertise, we aim to:

  • Streamline Financial Processes: Automate and systemize financial metrics to improve workflow efficiency and governance.
  • Embrace Advanced Technology: Foster rapid adoption of cloud solutions and core engineering practices to stay at the forefront of technological innovation.
  • Guarantee Data Excellence: Commit to the highest standards of data quality, accountability, and traceability, ensuring robust data management.
  • Unify Data Models: Create consistent and regulatory-compliant data models across platforms, bolstering risk and compliance management.
  • Enhance Analytical Capabilities: Support the development of advanced analytical calculations and data transformations to inform better decision-making.

What we are look for:
The CFO divisions boast an extensive array of software applications designed to ensure compliance with the organization's policies, risk management protocols, and regulatory requirements, while also safeguarding the firm's reputation. Given the vast scale and complexity of the enterprise, the ideal candidate is tasked with the ongoing enhancement of automation levels, as well as the modernization and consolidation of software systems. Moreover, data plays a pivotal role in our operations. A successful candidate will exhibit proven experience and a deep enthusiasm for addressing critical challenges associated with data quality, warehousing, and analytics.

Responsibilities:

Thrive in a lively, fast-moving setting that offers a comprehensive view of the Finance sector.
Grasp the essentials of the business, paving the way for and crafting process workflows, data needs, and outlines necessary for execution.
Formulate technical outlines, both overarching and detailed designs, devise testing approaches, and set up plans for execution based on business demands.
Oversee the full cycle of system development, spanning from requirements gathering, programming, testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), to ongoing maintenance.
Stay abreast of novel and upcoming technologies that could benefit the project.

Skills and relevant experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline
5+ years of relevant experience in software development, including a clear understanding of data structures, algorithms, software design, core programming concepts and experiences with continuous delivery and deployment
A strong problem solver, organized and able to work in a fast-paced environment with delivery focus as part of a global team
Excellent communicator who is comfortable engaging stakeholders, both verbally and written
Strong programming experience in at least one compiled language (e.g. Java, C++)
Full Stack experience with industry standard frameworks and tools (e.g. React, SpringBoot, DropWizard, Maven, Web/RESTful service development)
Knowledge of relational and columnar SQL databases, including database design
