We are looking for a Tax Accountant to join our team at Securitas Poland.

Responsibilities:

  • Verification of documents in accordance with Polish VAT and CIT regulations.
  • Calculation of CIT tax.
  • Preparation, verification, and submission of JPK VAT files and VAT UE declarations.
  • Verification and confirmation of accounts receivable and preparing balance confirmations.
  • Calculation of withholding tax CIT-10Z, preparation of IFT-2R.
  • Preparation of data for transfer pricing documentation.
  • Communication with institutions and offices: Tax Office (US), Central Statistical Office (GUS), National Bank of Poland (NBP).
  • Preparation of documentation for audit by a certified auditor.
  • Implementation of regulatory changes and coordination of projects.
  • Educating employees about new tax regulations by organizing trainings and providing substantive support to the Accounting Team.
  • Solving ongoing tax issues.

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of experience of working as a Tax Specialist in accounting and Tax Departments.
  • Practical knowledge of MS Excel.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or similar fields. 
  • Very good knowledge of tax regulations, especially CIT, VAT, WHT and The Accounting Act.
  • Fluency in Polish language and proficiency in English language (B2/C1 level).
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tax deadlines.
  • Ability to work in a team, as well as independently.
  • Communicativeness, openness, accuracy and client-oriented approach.
  • Willingness to regularly improve skills and seek new solutions.
  • Experience in Shared Services (nice to have).
  • Experience with Oracle system (nice to have).
