The Delivery Lead at Avanade plays a dynamic role and serves as a driving force behind our transformative growth. In this position, you will be at the forefront of shaping the future, structure, and organization of our Delivery Team, which you will then guide to new heights of success.
You'll be responsible for ensuring seamless partnerships with our clients, overseeing the flawless delivery of project portfolios and services, and leaving a trail of satisfied customers in your wake. While you'll be following our regional blueprint, we're relying on your expertise and innovative thinking to ignite and accelerate our journey of growth. This role isn't just about managing the day-to-day; it's about envisioning the bigger picture and being the visionary who maps the path to success. If you're ready to make a significant impact, drive change, and collaborate with a team toward boundless opportunities, this role is just right for you.Minimum ten years of experience in IT Project/Program Management, coordinating a medium-large team, with high level of exposure to customer and a proven ability to document, communicate and market IT programs while executing them. · Good understanding of contract terms and interpretation as well as key project management disciplines (estimating, work planning, contract management, scope management, user acceptance, etc.) · Experience leading a team, being accountable of their growth and careers (training and development plans, performance management, etc.) · Experience in customer expectations management within IT consulting environment. · Demonstrated experience employing project management methods, tools, techniques. · Expertise in Microsoft Project, working knowledge of Microsoft platform technologies especially D365 and Power Platform.Characteristics that can spell success for this role: · Excellent communication skills. Fluent Polish and English is a must. · Certifications: Project Management Institute (PMI) PMP or PgMP. Additional certifications (e.g., Agile/SCRUM, ITIL etc.) are an advantage. · Educational background: bachelor's degree in business or technology-related field. Lead the delivery of the contracted solution on the program level at the agreed upon terms, original deal economics, schedule, and quality level. · Manage overall project/program risks, adjusting as necessary and obtaining buy-in from senior management for critical project plans, commitment, and changes. · Oversee and lead development, implementation, and maintenance of the Project Work Plan, including approval for the project's estimated schedule, effort, and cost. · Manage accurate development and traceability of requirements during project lifecycle. · Ensure understanding of stakeholder goals and expectations, addresses misalignments, monitors the program to meet/exceed the agreed expectations and communicates back to customer. · Provide project leadership to appropriate teams.
