Offer Description

Project/Grant title: Fluoroalkyl(thiol)ative functionalyzations of enones

A post-doc position (12 months with possibility of extension up to 36 months) is available. The project is aimed at the development of methods for selective fluoroalkylations and fluoroalylthiolations of enones. We are seeking a highly motivated candidate with a strong background in synthetic organic chemistry, transition metal catalysis, or organometallic chemistry.

Education Level: PhD or equivalent

Skills/Qualifications:

  • PhD in chemistry (or related science) obtained not earlier than 7 years before the start of employment in the project, or expected graduation of PhD by this date.
  • Strong background in synthetic organic chemistry, transition metal catalysis, or organometallic chemistry.
  • Fluent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Good publication record in acclaimed journals.
  • Commitment and capacity for teamwork and critical thinking.

Languages: English - Level: Good

Years of Research Experience: 4 - 10

Additional Information

Terms of employment: Full-time employment (12 months with possibility of extension to 36 months), 11666 PLN/month gross (with all employer costs).
