Job Title: People Analytics Specialist
Location: Hybrid

Job Description

The People Analytics Specialist delivers impact by transforming data and analysis into insights and recommendations to inform the strategic direction of L.E.K.'s U.S. People strategy. Reporting to the People Analytics Manager, the People Analytics Specialist provides analytical support across the firm's People Functions (Recruiting, Learning & Development, Performance Management, Staffing, Core HR, and Career Services) as well as supports special projects and strategic initiatives related to People for the firm's leadership team. The People Analytics Specialist plays a critical role to help drive forward L.E.K.'s U.S. People Strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with People Analytics Manager, Chief People Officer and other firm leadership to support deliverables for special projects related to firm People Strategy (e.g., diversity, retention, sustainability etc.)
  • Oversee the maintenance and quality control for existing People Analytics dashboards, products, and routine analyses
  • Lead dataset development for near-term needs (e.g., create and maintain a dataset that can be leveraged across various use cases) and help build out a more robust long-term system
  • Spearhead innovative analyses to drive business decisions and measure success of firm programs and initiatives (e.g., analyze exit survey results; analyze key drivers of performance through analyzing the correlation between performance trends and potential drivers; etc.)
  • Partner with firm's People Functions (Recruiting, Learning & Development, Performance Management, Staffing, Core HR, and Career Services) to support ongoing operational analytics efforts (e.g., performance trends analysis; hours and staff utilization analysis; developing a model to identify employees eligible for bonus time off; etc.)
  • Ensure best practices are followed for data capture and tracking
  • Identify data capture and analytics efficiency improvements as the firm scales and grows and collaborate with teams to implement
  • Design and service Tableau dashboards and other tools for visualizing data; support functional team usage
  • Contribute as a thought partner on systems assessment and implementation as needs arise (e.g., applicant tracking system, Human Capital Management system, learning management system, etc.)
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for ad hoc people data and analytics requests
  • Support the broader goals of the People team and firm wide L.E.K. initiatives
  • Maintain unwavering confidentiality with HR information

Required Skills

  • Undergraduate degree required; degree in business analytics, statistics, math, or computer science preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in an analytical role (HR experience or internal / external consulting experience preferred)
  • Ability to manage several projects simultaneously
  • Superb analytical skills; hands-on experience cleaning, manipulating and combining large data sets
  • Ability to derive insights and strategic recommendations from large datasets
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Team oriented: strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively with all stakeholders
  • Professional and demonstrates integrity at all times
  • Technical skills required: Advanced Excel and Powerpoint
  • Technical skills preferred: Tableau, Alteryx, PowerApps (PowerBI, PowerQuery, PowerAutomate, etc) Not required, but willingness to learn is a must
  • Experience with HCM software (ADP, SAP, Workday) preferred
