Accounts Payable Team Leader (All Genders)

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Taking initiative and responsibility for positive results of defined accounting performance and cost targets
  • Ensuring compliance with accounting principles to facilitate audit requirements and EHS, quality management, lCS and Business Conduct policies and guidelines
  • Managing optimization of working schedules, procedures, and tools to enable appropriate reporting of financial data
  • Coordinating work schedules including securing proper back-up structure and keeping desktop procedures up to date
  • Managing the AP Team to provide daily work support to team members and on-the-job training for new team members
  • Managing incident resolution
  • Recruiting, onboarding, and managing employees, playing a key role as a mentor in career planning, including succession & talent management and building & maintaining a trust and feedback environment
  • Coordinating pre-onboarding activities and onboarding new team members
  • Ensuring operational processes governed by KPIs and agreed targets
  • Being the first point of contact in case of internal & external audits, maintaining audit documentation for internal & external audit purposes, identifying opportunities for process improvements, and supporting process redesign initiatives to improve productivity
  • Managing communication with the entities and addressing issues raised by the entities (stakeholder support and management)
Your Qualifications
  • Degree in economics or business administration with a major in accounting
  • Very good English skills; German will be an asset
  • Knowledge and experience in MS Office usage (especially MS Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Knowledge and experience in the usage of SAP FI/CO
  • Good organizational and coordination skills as well as strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work in teams, under pressure, and within all deadlines
  • Openness for continuous improvement (willing to address innovative ideas, open to feedback)
  • Strong interpersonal skills, multi-tasking and time management skills, customer orientation with the ability to set proper priorities
  • Team-oriented, people leader with strong communication skills and a proven track record of building up teams
  • Experienced in managing a multiple stakeholder environment
  • Strongly analytical, process improvement, and conceptual mindset with a technical understanding
  • Experienced in change management and process transformation
