A person applying for this position must meet the requirements set out in Art. 113 of the Act of July 20, 2018 Law on Higher Education and Science (Journal of Laws 2018, pos. 1668, as amended), in the Statute of the Warsaw University of Life Sciences (SGGW Section VIII).
The candidate is expected to meet the following conditions:
- PhD degree in the discipline of food technology and human nutrition,
- Experience in conducting scientific work in the field of technology and quality assessment of fats and food concentrates, documented by relevant scientific achievements, including at least 8 publications with an IF impact index of at least 30,
- Experience in conducting research related to the technology and analysis of food fats and concentrates, experience in qualitative and quantitative determination of food components using various analytical methods, including chromatographic techniques, experience in studying the effect of various additives and unconventional raw materials on the quality characteristics of food products,
- Documented participation in national and international scientific conferences in the form of presented oral reports and posters,
- Experience in teaching at a university,
- Very good knowledge of English, enabling independent writing of scientific publications in this language, giving reports at scientific conferences, teaching in English.
Additional requirements:
- computer skills, including MS Office, Autocad, and statistical programs.
Responsibilities:
- conducting scientific activities,
- conducting teaching classes in Polish and English,
- participating in organizational work for the University,
- increasing professional competences.
The language of teaching is Polish and English.
Candidates should submit the following documents:

- Curriculum vitae, including professional work and scientific achievements with list of publications and presentations,
- Necessary documents confirming the remaining requirements from the Candidate,
- Declaration confirming compliance with the requirements of art. 113 of the Act of 20 July 2018 - Law on Higher Education and Science (Journal of Laws 2018, pos. 1668) and declaration that SGGW will be the primary workplace (on a special print available at SGGW-WULS - Office of Personal Affairs).
In the case of a positive outcome of the contest, a certificate from a doctor of medicine will be required (prints are available in the Department of Personal Affairs). People from outside the university shall additionally submit a certificate of employment or a certificate of employment.
