RTR/GL Accountant with French

Essential Qualifications:

  • Fluent working French and English with a minimum of C1 level
  • Accurate and client-focused approach
  • At least 4 years of experience in fund accounting or corporate accounting
  • Prior knowledge of the Private Capital industry is beneficial
  • Self-motivation and willingness to learn
  • Excellent organizational skills and resilience
  • Proactivity and ability to take initiative
  • Good knowledge of MS Excel
  • Familiarity with eFront software is an asset

Main Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine tasks on a portfolio of up to 15 funds, including bookkeeping, cash and asset reconciliations, accruals calculation, and NAV calculation, according to established procedures and deadlines.
  • Review work completed by team members, providing guidance and approval for complex transactions or funds as needed.
  • Maintain oversight of team activities, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
  • Develop and train less experienced team members, serving as a primary resource for technical questions and development.
  • Take overall responsibility for the team, supporting the Team Leader and ensuring satisfactory KPIs.
  • Collaborate with the Team Leader on various projects, including coordinating the migration of fund reporting from Paris.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance processes and implement improvements for increased efficiency.
