We are looking for an experienced Chief Accountant to oversee the accounting operations at indaHash. The Chief Accountant will ensure that all financial transactions are properly recorded and reported in a timely fashion and will play an active role in helping to develop and implement the company's overall accounting strategy.

The Challenges You Will Meet As The Chief Accountant

  1. Close cooperation with CFO and IDH management regarding finance department set-up
  2. Decisiveness in scheduling timelines of changes implementation within the accounting department
  3. Responsibility for the financial accounting of a Group of legal entities in different countries (AR, AP, GL)
  4. Cooperation with local and foreign accounting offices
  5. Responsibility for full tax and statutory reporting (VAT, CIT, withholding tax, GUS, NBP reporting)
  6. Responsibility for accounting policy and chart of accounts as well as accounting and tax procedures on local and Group levels (if needed)
  7. Preparing periodic financial statements, analyses and reports, including consolidation of Financial Statements at the Group level
  8. Leading statutory audits and tax controls on local and Group level (if needed)
  9. Providing complete and correct financial information and data for reporting, forecasting and controlling purposes in the organisation
  10. Liaising with key stakeholders and coordinating the resolution of accounting problems with impacted business
  11. Continuously improving and working on efficiencies of accounting and tax processes
  12. Participating in other projects and initiatives related to accounting
  13. Managing accounting team
  14. Responsibility for internal financial accounting (when moved from the external accounting office)

Requirements

  1. Polish at the C1 level is a must.
  2. At least five years of experience in the Accounting department and preferably at least two years in a Chief Accountant role (marketing/advertising industry would be an asset)
  3. Degree in Accounting/Finance
  4. Strong knowledge of tax regulations (including Withholding Tax) and standards of international accounting
  5. Strong management and organisation skills in building and controlling of external accounting offices
  6. Good knowledge of accounting consolidation of FS
  7. English at C1 level
  8. Good MS Office skills and robust capabilities in MS Excel
  9. Proactive approach, accuracy, strong organisational skills, strategic thinking abilities
  10. Good communication and teamwork, efficiency, innovation
  11. Former experience with multinational companies and accountancy regulations would be welcomed
  12. Experience in the brokerage and trading industry would be an asset
  13. ACCA or other financial / accounting certificate would be an asset
