What the Site Contract department does at Worldwide

Site Contracting is an essential function within any CRO. Our seasoned team spans decades of experience and possesses robust legal expertise. The department is responsible for reviewing, analyzing, and drafting clinical research site contracts, investigator contracts, and other project-related contracts. Our global team is familiar with the specific laws for the countries and sites we occupy. We negotiate and finalize clinical trial contracts and services contracts with the Worldwide Legal Department, study teams, sponsors, investigators, and/or clinical sites.

What you will do

  • Prepare country contract templates; draft and send Site Agreements or any document associated with sites to begin negotiations.
  • Provide contract execution planned timelines and negotiation status.
  • Send items for translation, if applicable. Receive and translate items.
  • Review Site Agreements or any document associated for completeness and accuracy.
  • Finalize contract and budget with sites; if requested, provide draft/signed contract/budget to EC/CA for submission purposes, where needed.
  • Negotiate Site Agreements Amendment with sites.
  • Facilitate contracts signature by Worldwide, when applicable.
  • Send Fully Executed Site Agreements or any document associated to: site, eTMF, Central Records, payment team, Sponsor, as applicable.
  • Liaise with Worldwide Legal Department, Data Privacy team, study teams, sponsors, sites, investigators, etc.
  • Maintain tracking tool for functional activities.

What you will bring to the role

  • Excellent ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment where quality is essential.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to clearly and concisely present/negotiation information.
  • Good negotiation and communication skills with the ability to challenge.
  • Computer literacy and confidence in working with legislation databases, documents, spreadsheets, and other office software.

Your experience

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in business administration, finance, science, or related field.
  • Experience up to 1-2 years in CRO, Pharma, Biotech, and/or related Legal field preferred, but not required.
