Part of the Supply Chain family, Procurement is responsible for over 30B Euro of material and services spend globally with more than 60,000 suppliers. Our strategy is 'Procurement with Purpose' and focuses on buying responsibly, buying better, and growing together with partners around the world.
JOB PURPOSE:
If you are passionate about shaping the future of our Surfactants Portfolio and contributing to procurement initiatives that drive sustainability, innovation, and operational excellence, then this role is just for you
WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE:
- Deliver Procurement Key Performance Indicators such as Value Improvement Programs, Innovation Delivery, Payment Terms Extension, Cost Target, Gross Margin Improvement, Traceability & Sustainability.
- Support day-to-day execution of Procurement basics, e.g. CLM / SAP contracts creation & updates, vendor master data, cash reporting, invoices resolution (P2P).
- Transformative, resilience and innovation projects in LATAM, NA, EU: Develop contingency plans and alternative materials and/or suppliers.
- Execute price forecast and improve supplier cost models to enhance transparency of cost drivers.
- Assist the Procurement Manager with the tendering process, benchmarking, and total cost analysis.
- Ensure material availability by working closely with suppliers and consuming countries.
- Lead and support cost savings initiatives in line with sourcing strategies.
- Support the management and maintenance of supplier relationships and internal relationships with market teams.
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
- 3-5 years of experience in Procurement, preferably with experience in raw materials / chemicals.
- Fluent in English with excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Excellent Excel skills are an absolute non-negotiable.
- Attention to detail, thorough and diligent.
- Proactive, self-driven, responsible, 'gets things done' attitude.
- Critical thinking: question everything, take nothing for granted.
