Part of the Supply Chain family, Procurement is responsible for over 30B Euro of material and services spend globally with more than 60,000 suppliers. Our strategy is 'Procurement with Purpose' and focuses on buying responsibly, buying better, and growing together with partners around the world.

JOB PURPOSE:

If you are an action-driven person who excels in operations and has strategic thinking, great negotiation skills, and is eager to dive into agricultural supply chains, then this role is just for you

WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE:

Operations (50%)

  1. Enter contracts and manage daily end-to-end operations for Unilever supply across 20+ sites in Europe.
  2. Address quality deviations with the factory quality team.
  3. Manage supply challenges and implement risk management strategies.
  4. Support flawless portfolio transfers based on Unilever's business strategy.
  5. Build strong working relationships with market teams.
  6. Excel in various reporting (savings, resilience, etc.).
  7. Manage compliance (e.g., responsible sourcing, sustainable sourcing, etc.).
  8. Handle payment issues and supplier onboarding.

Portfolio Strategy & Negotiations (50%)

  1. Conduct negotiations with competitive outcomes.
  2. Analyze and develop a deep understanding of supply markets.
  3. Develop resilience plans and alternatives to ensure supply security.
  4. Deliver bottom-line savings and cash by identifying key opportunities.
  5. Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to land improvement programs.
  6. Provide accurate price forecasting.

Experience & Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or Procurement.
  2. Minimum 5 years of procurement or operations experience.
  3. Proficiency in supply chain systems such as SAP, Pega NPP, Anaplan, HICX, and Velocity.

Skills:

  1. Great analytical and Excel skills.
  2. Strong financial acumen.
  3. Negotiation experience in agricultural materials is a plus.
  4. Project management.
  5. Fluent in English.
