As a Solution Architect with Cloud (Hands-on Solution Architect in Banking & Capital Markets Consulting), you will participate in various streams of banking platforms implementation projects, collaborate with team members to achieve project and client goals, and be a part of Business Transformations. We are looking for a top-notch technology-savvy specialist willing to move our projects on the new track You will use a wide technology stack and have an opportunity to implement new solutions while working with top leaders in their industries. As a part of our global team, you will participate in international projects based on the latest data technologies and cloud platforms.

Your key responsibilities
  1. Work as a Solution Architect to contribute in various streams of implementation projects.
  2. Plan and monitor the project deliverables from the team.
  3. Collaborate with team members, mentor the project team to plan, develop and implement project activities to achieve project and client goals.
  4. Manage relationships with the client, key stakeholders, subject matter experts.
  5. Participate in the organization-wide people initiatives.
  6. Participate in the development of RFP/RFI response process.
  7. Make hands dirty with code during team support and leading.
To qualify for the role, you must have
  1. 7+ years of experience in the IT area (min. 2 years of experience as a Tech Lead, Solution Architect, or other similar position).
  2. Banking or financial industry experience required.
  3. Experience with designing and implementing cloud-native solutions (AWS or Azure).
  4. Demonstrable experience in the system and/or solution design area.
  5. Experience in Java, JEE, Web Services (SOAP and REST), Database development (both SQL and no-SQL).
  6. Experience in another programming language is a plus.
  7. Very good communication skills.
  8. Client management experience (Stakeholder management).
  9. Willingness to travel to the customers' locations on a need basis.
Skills and attributes for success
  1. Excellent client-facing, leadership, and/or project management skills.
  2. Hands-on experience in one of the market-leading integration platforms and message brokers (Tibco, WebMethods, IBM AppConnect, ServiceMix, ActiveMQ, Kafka, etc.).
  3. Experience with designing microservices on a large scale.
  4. Reactive programming experience (RxJava, Observers, event-driven programming principles).
  5. Experience in agile/scrum approach.
  6. Knowledge of German or another European language will be an additional asset.
  7. Ability to facilitate design discussions and communicate architectural decisions.
  8. Ability to communicate technical matters clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences, win supporters, and spur people to action.
  9. Experience in creating reliable solution plans in cooperation with business and multi-disciplinary teams: cost estimation, delivery approaches.
  10. Demonstrated strategic thinking through a proven ability to research client inquiries and emerging issues related to regulations, industry practice, and new application technologies.
