Your Role at Baxter:The AR Specialist (Credit & Collections Specialist) will perform advanced credit and collection functions such as reviewing and monitoring credit files and delinquent accounts, adapting procedures, processes, and techniques to ensure timely collection, sending follow-up letters and billing, accepting payment on accounts, and utilising appropriate software packages.
What will you be doing?- Performing collection activities to ensure the account is paid according to contractual payment terms. This involves ensuring accurate billing and prompt collection.
- Maintaining records on account activities and analysing credit files.
- Preparing the required report, the data reported and the impact on the customer and division.
- Performing credit analysis on existing or current customers.
- Obtaining required information from credit organizations, banks, and loan associations.
- A specialist with +3 years of experience in a customer contact environment and strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
- A person with an understanding of software in a Windows-based environment and mainframe applications.
- Candidate experienced in a fast-paced environment who operates within designated time constraints to maintain service levels.
- Probation period of 3 months and then for an indefinite period.
