We are looking for an experienced Backend Engineer to develop secure, cloud-native applications and microservices, contributing to a major modernisation of an identity and access management (IAM) platform.
Key responsibilities:
- Design, develop and maintain backend microservices using Node.js and TypeScript.
- Build serverless solutions using AWS Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB and EventBridge.
- Develop automated integration and end-to-end tests.
- Contribute to IAM services, identity platform migration and secure third-party integrations.
- Maintain production applications and support continuous delivery.
- Collaborate with engineers, architects and SRE specialists on technical design and code quality.
What we are looking for:
- 5+ years’ experience in backend or full-stack software development.
- Strong, recent hands-on experience with Node.js and TypeScript.
- Practical experience with AWS cloud services and distributed, asynchronous systems.
- Test automation skills using tools such as Jest, Postman or Playwright.
- Understanding of CI/CD and production deployment practices.
- Fluency in both Polish and English.
- IAM or CIAM solutions, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect and JWT.
- Infrastructure as Code, particularly AWS CDK or Terraform.
- Kubernetes, Grafana, Prometheus or Loki.
- Additional backend experience with Java or Python.
