We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Reporting Specialist to join our finance team. The Reporting Specialist will be responsible for ensuring compliance with statutory reporting requirements and regulations but also support Internal Management Information pack preparation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to navigate complex statutory reporting frameworks.

YOUR HELP AND CONTRIBUTIONS TO OUR JOURNEY

  • Prepare and file statutory financial statements in accordance with regulatory requirements and accounting standards.
  • Prepare/review monthly consolidation packages ensuring their accuracy and ensuring the early identification and escalation of statutory and consolidation issues.
  • Coordinate with external auditors to facilitate the annual audit process, providing documentation and support as needed and addressing audit findings and inquiries.
  • Participate in ad hoc projects and initiatives to improve statutory reporting processes, enhance efficiency, and support business objectives.
  • Support Management Reporting pack preparation, including commentary, variance analysis from actuals to budget and forecast for profit and loss (P&L) and balance sheet to ensure financial accuracy of the accounts, FTE analysis and control.
  • Support budget and forecast preparation.

YOU STAND OUT FROM THE CROWD IF YOU HAVE

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field; CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in statutory reporting or related finance roles, with a strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Proficiency in financial reporting software and ERP systems (like Lucanet).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex financial data and interpret accounting standards and regulations.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey technical accounting concepts to non-accounting stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of statutory reporting requirements and regulations.
