For our Client, a leading company in the chemical and technology industry, we are looking for a candidate for the position of Payroll & HR Ops Partner with German.

Position

Payroll & HR Ops Specialist with German

Requirements
  • minimum of 3 years of experience in payroll operations,
  • strong knowledge of Swiss tax, social security, and labor law,
  • fluency in German and English (C1 level, both written and verbal),
  • commercial training or a degree in business-related studies,
  • experience in working with international teams and external providers,
  • proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel,
  • strong numerical skills, problem-solving abilities, and independent work approach,
  • knowledge of Workday and ServiceNow is an advantage.
Responsibilities
  • collaborate with an external payroll provider to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing, compliance, and issue resolution,
  • manage payroll accounting in line with legal and internal regulations,
  • maintain and optimize payroll systems, ensuring high data quality and compliance,
  • work closely with internal teams and shared service centers, such as the payroll accounting team,
  • administer expat payroll in collaboration with external partners,
  • support monthly closing processes and HR audits,
  • handle long-term absence cases and sick leave processes,
  • prepare employment documents, including contracts, HR letters, and references,
  • act as a point of contact for employees regarding payroll and HR-related inquiries.
