Requirements

Research Field: Language sciences » Linguistics

Education Level: PhD or equivalent

Qualification requirements:

  • Professional Master of Arts degree in Modern Languages
  • Experience in organizing and teaching university-level courses
  • Experience in organizational work and managing workplace teams
  • Documented experience in teaching foreign languages for special purposes at a medical university
  • Proficiency in Polish and a working command of English

The following will be an advantage:

  • Publications on teaching foreign languages for special purposes and the intersection of medicine and humanities

Required documents:

  • CV with a description of scientific, teaching, and organizational experience
  • Copies of documents confirming professional qualifications and education, including diplomas of completion of higher education studies and conferring the doctoral/postdoctoral degree/title of Professor
  • Copy of a document confirming the right to practice medicine in Poland
  • Copy of documents confirming the Candidate's scientific and teaching achievements, including a list of publications complete with ranking scores such as the Impact Factor

Required statements and declarations:

  • Declaration of having full legal capacity
  • Declaration of enjoying full civil rights
  • Statement of no prior conviction for intentional offence or intentional tax offence
  • Statement of no disciplinary penalty referred to in Article 276, Section 1, Items 7 and 8 of the Law on Higher Education and Science
  • Declaration that MUW will be the Candidate's primary workplace in case of winning the competition
  • A statement regarding not working in state security agendas between July 22, 1944, and July 31, 1990
  • Statement regarding the processing of personal data provided in the application
  • Declaration on submitting a statement authorizing MUW to include the Candidate in the group of employees conducting scientific activity in a given discipline
