Huntsman is seeking a Demand Planner to join its Global Business Service in Krakow, Poland. Reporting to the EMEA Demand and Supply Planning Manager, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining demand plans for your market portfolio based on internal and external demand signals.

Demand Planner Responsibilities:
  • Own the 12-month demand plan for assigned markets
  • Gather and analyze data to finalize customer-level plans
  • Communicate demand plan changes to supply planning and key stakeholders
  • Maintain strong communication with supply planners to guide allocation, replenishments, and short-term changes
  • Align with commercial and finance teams on supply and revenue plan impacts
  • Reflect supply constraints in the demand plan accurately and timely
  • Develop mitigation plans for supply issues and reach consensus with commercial teams
  • Propose regional allocations for constrained products and take action when deviations occur
  • Prepare allocation plans during product shortages per commercial or legal guidelines
  • Generate statistical forecasts and compare accuracy against commercially provided forecasts
  • Collaborate with demand planners in other regions
  • Review and determine the necessity and value of safety stock
  • Lead monthly demand review meetings and challenge sales and marketing inputs
  • Assess risks and opportunities related to the demand plan
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Supply Chain, Business, or Engineering required
  • 2-5 years of professional experience in demand planning, preferably in an international environment
  • Commercial exposure with a proven track record in demand planning/forecasting
  • Understanding of supply planning, production planning, new product introduction, and material planning
  • Profound knowledge and experience in S&OP or IBP processes beneficial
  • Fluency in English required for effective collaboration with stakeholders
  • SAP software process knowledge an advantage
  • High digital literacy and proficiency in IT tools (Excel, PowerBI) required
  • Excellent coordination, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication skills to deliver detailed solutions and the big picture
  • Strong interpersonal skills and team-oriented
  • High analytical skills based on data
  • Good understanding of the market in which Huntsman operates
