Offer Description

The Faculty of Management and Economics, Department of Finance is seeking a full-time assistant in the research and teaching staff group. We are looking for a person who is open to teamwork, is enthusiastic, enjoys working with students and focused on research and grant acquisition.

TASKS/ROLE
* conducting exercises and laboratories in Polish and/or English in selected subjects related to: finance, financial investments, financial markets, risk management, financial mathematics, financial and managerial accounting, as well as carrying out, together with the whole team, research defined by the Department of Finance in the field of finance and accounting
* participation in organisational work for the benefit of the department and the faculty, including the organisation of scientific conferences
* acquisition of grants
* conducting research work and publishing activity
* involvement in research projects conducted at the Faculty

Requirements

Skills/Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS
* master degree in: economics/finance/management
* teaching experience
* research output in accounting and/or finance
* publications in journals on the ministerial list or publications in the form of monographs, excerpts from monographs and also chapters in monographs
* knowledge of finance and accounting issues
* fluency in spoken and written Polish and English

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
* publications in journals indexed in Scopus and/or Web of Science databases
* ability to use IT and statistical tools in teaching and research
* operation of the Symfonia accounting software
