Indirect Tax Analyst

We are seeking a detail-oriented Indirect Tax Analyst to join our RTR Indirect Tax team based in our EMEA Shared Service Center.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Ensure efficient and high-quality processing of indirect tax processes, including VAT accounting, reconciliation, and month-end reporting.
  2. Accelerate value by performing day-to-day indirect tax operations.
  3. Review and support indirect tax accounting processes.
  4. Perform reconciliations and prepare month-end reports.
  5. Prepare and review VAT journal entries.
  6. Generate standard reports.
  7. Verify transactions are booked according to accounting policy.
  8. Contribute to new transition processes and continuous improvement initiatives.
  9. Develop and maintain process-related documentation.
  10. Collaborate with global markets, accounts payable, and local markets teams.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 0.5-2 years of relevant experience in indirect tax or VAT area.
  • Strong accounting knowledge or indirect tax/VAT process expertise.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Fluent English language skills (written and spoken).
  • Mature attitude towards challenges and problem-solving.
  • Ability to work across cultures with various levels of the organization and functions.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and SAP.
  • Previous SSC experience is an asset.
  • Additional accounting and VAT courses are beneficial.
