The Risk Management function within Thomson Reuters is seeking a skilled professional to help strengthen the control landscape and support the establishment of new, and delivery of existing core processes designed to evaluate and manage risks associated with external business relationships.
Key responsibilities include building, deploying, and operating a TR customer compliance (KYC) capability, focusing on identifying risks associated with selling products and provisioning access to TR content and intellectual property.
- Operate and execute KYC relevant processes i.e., customer screening following a defined process and utilizing dedicated tooling.
- Work closely with members of the broader organization including Risk & Compliance, Product Sales, and other business functions to ensure smooth process delivery and timely escalation.
- Contribute to the development and delivery of the enterprise-wide Know Your Customer (KYC) program and the associated projects.
- Support third-party risk management activities such as third-party screening.
- Identify and escalate materially relevant issues identified as part of your day-to-day duty.
We are looking for a highly motivated individual with a strong understanding of compliance, sales processes, customer screening, and KYC processes. The ideal candidate will have:
- Natural curiosity and eagerness to learn and grow.
- Fluent English language skills and effective communication.
- At least 3 years of relevant work experience preferably in a regulated industry.
- Experience with sales, sourcing, procurement, contract management, and relevant processes in a global entity.
- Risk Management expertise and comfort working with GRC tooling and processes.
