Automated Security Scanning Analyst

We are seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Analyst to join our team at Groupe SII in Warsaw, Poland.

This role is a key part of the Secure Development team, reporting to the Global Head of Secure Development Lifecycle Support. You will be responsible for providing security tooling for security scanning services.

Your primary focus will be on developing and adopting security utilities and tools that enable development teams to operate more efficiently and securely.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Contribute to the development and adoption of security utilities and tools, enabling development teams to work more efficiently and securely.
  2. Design, develop, and support development teams with security recommendations and adoption of tools.
  3. Identify and develop processes, procedures, and tools to improve security scanning services.
  4. Liaise with developers and project managers to understand application workflows.
  5. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
  6. Provide training and support to developer and security champion activities, enhancing the quality of security scanning services.
  7. Oversee changes in risk profiles through metric development and analysis of risks and controls.
  8. Support the team with quality reviews, audit requirements, and service desk management.
Required Skills:
  1. Understanding of integration and automation of various security technologies, including SAST, DAST, MAST, IAST, container security tools within DevOps pipelines.
  2. Proficiency in one or more industry security tooling solutions.
  3. Hands-on experience in DevSecOps with a focus on security.
  4. Solid experience with platform-specific security risks, common vulnerabilities for web applications, and mobile architectures (HTML, XML, JavaScript, JSON, REST, Microservices, etc.).
  5. Knowledge of security flaws in Java, J2EE, Objective C, Swift, and Kotlin programming languages.
  6. Familiarity with public cloud environments, including AWS, GCP, Azure, Alicloud.
  7. Significant experience implementing vulnerability identification tools within development pipelines.
  8. Previous work with Vulnerability Scoring System (CVSS).
  9. Experience with emerging technologies and their corresponding security threats is beneficial.
  10. Advanced English language skills.
