The Role

The Product Delivery Specialist is a key new role in our growing Product Organization, and part of the Product Operations team. They will work closely with company leadership, Product Managers, Engineering and various client-facing teams to deliver product and engineering projects coherently and efficiently, by aligning on operations, facilitating team collaboration, scoping agreements, and prioritising tasks.

Among the main responsibilities are ensuring backlogs are managed effectively across engineering teams, tracking sprint progress, capacity optimization, portfolio oversight, risk management, and handling change requests. They will also support client projects to ensure seamless execution and strategic alignment.

This position will be critical in fostering communication and collaboration across teams to drive the company's success.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Support execution of the Product strategy by continuously improving the efficiency of the Product Development Lifecycle (PDLC).
  • Support Product Managers during various PDLC activities such as discovery, backlog refinement, designing, prototyping, validation, delivery and rollout.
  • Work with Proposition Managers and Product Managers to create and communicate product roadmaps.
  • Facilitate collaboration between Product Management and Engineering teams for smooth prioritisation, backlog management processes and efficient delivery.
  • Track timelines, dependencies and risks; identify and facilitate removing impediments, escalating when required.
  • Create transparency at each PDLC step for stakeholders across the whole company.
  • Regularly report on a set of KPIs and metrics related to delivery across the portfolio.
  • Facilitate portfolio-level governance meetings to provide visibility to all stakeholders, enable effective decision making with clear audit records.
  • Work with customer-facing teams to analyze client behavior and help grow adoption.
  • Support various internal and client projects to ensure seamless execution and strategic alignment.
  • Support transformations across product and engineering teams to continuously improve collaboration and efficiency.

We are looking for someone with:

  • A Bachelor's (or Engineering) Degree in computer science, computer engineering, or other technical fields, or equivalent work experience required.
  • Minimum 5 yrs experience of working with SaaS products and cloud platforms; strong understanding of product development lifecycle.
  • Experience facilitating Agile, Scrum, or other rapid application development teams to deliver technology solutions on time, on budget, and to spec.
  • Expertise in Jira/Atlassian, including workflow customization and automation is a must.
  • Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills, process thinking, directing work through others, building relationships and trust, consensus building.
  • Great attention to detail.

Nice to Haves:

  • Agile Certification, Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM).
  • Experience in working in the Financial Services industry, preferably within Corporate Banking, Transaction Banking, Capital Markets, or similar business exposure would be a big plus.
