Market Supply and S&OP Leader is responsible for the strategic oversight and execution of the company's end-to-end business planning process. This role will manage cross-functional collaboration to align on strategic business objectives, ensure accurate forecast, optimizing inventory levels, meeting customer demand with resilient service while minimizing costs. The Market Supply and S&OP Leader will be instrumental in developing and executing a seamless planning process and will be responsible for continuous improvement of operational efficiency and business performance.

She/He must be able to cover the role of any of the members of the Team (reportees) if needed.

The Market Supply and S&OP Leader will report into the EE Supply Chain Director. SC Director reports VP SC Europe.

WHAT YOU WILL DOLeadership and Strategy:
  1. Champion a culture of continuous improvement, driving efficiency and innovation in planning processes.
  2. Align planning and execution with business unit (BU) strategic goals and objectives.
  3. Lead cross-functional collaboration with sales, marketing, finance, operations, and the planning hub to enhance forecast accuracy and execution.
  4. Develop and maintain strong partnership with internal and external stakeholders to drive business results to success.
  5. Design and lead a standardized S&OP process, ensuring consistency, efficiency, and alignment with business needs.
  6. Drive continuous improvement in forecast accuracy by integrating market intelligence, demand insights, and supply constraints into the planning process.
  7. Facilitate and lead S&OP meetings, ensuring cross-functional alignment and data-driven decision-making.
  8. Ensure consistency between value forecast commitments and volume forecasts in demand planning tools to support achievable business goals.
  9. Clearly communicate and cascade key decisions and action items from S&OP meetings to the demand planning team, providing clear guidance on adjustments and potential risks.
  10. Influence stakeholders by bringing critical supply insights to discussions and proactively shaping S&OP decisions.
Demand Planning:
  1. Oversee the demand planning process, ensuring accurate forecasting based on market trends, historical data, and customer insights.
  2. Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to integrate promotional plans, product launches, and market intelligence into demand forecasts.
  3. Utilize advanced analytics and tools to refine demand forecasting models and improve accuracy.
  4. Drive continuous improvement in KPIs and all key processes which impact the results.
  5. Work together with marketing, sales departments to improve forecast accuracy on initiative SKUs: New product launches, PIPO, promos.
Supply & Inventory management:
  1. Liaise with Planning Hub to ensure proper service level to BU customers.
  2. Liaise with key GTM partners to keep inventory levels on aligned targets, balancing service level requirements with cost efficiency.
  3. Monitor Value at Risk stock and lead action plans on prevention and depletion of idle stock.
Team Management:
  1. Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for demand and supply planning, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  2. Analyze performance data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
  3. Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance processes, tools and team efficiency.
Communication and Collaboration:
  1. Foster strong relationships with internal stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment in planning and decision-making.
  2. Communicate effectively with senior leadership on planning outcomes, risks, and opportunities.
  3. Act as a liaison between different departments to ensure a holistic approach to business planning.
WHAT WE WANT YOU TO BRING ALONG
  1. Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in supply chain senior leadership or managerial roles.
  2. Bachelors' or Masters' degree.
  3. Proven track record in driving significant process improvements and optimizing performance metrics.
  4. Strong analytical skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  5. Results-oriented, proactive, and highly efficient in execution.
  6. Excellent communication skills, including strong business writing proficiency in English.
  7. Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage people, and foster professional growth.
  8. Experience with demand planning systems and SAP is a plus.
  9. Willingness to travel occasionally as required.
