Senior Automation QA Engineer

Our QA Engineers work with project teams to ensure software quality through systematic test planning, execution, and defect tracking, ensuring functionality, performance, and reliability of applications before deployment. With deep knowledge of various types of applications, databases, and operating systems, they maintain high standards of product excellence and user satisfaction.
QA Engineer role assumes that candidate will be taking active participation in overall QA activities in SCRUM team that includes test scenario implementation and execution for User Stories (both manual and automated but with focus on automation part), working closely with other stakeholders like Product Owner, System Designer, Business Representatives to ensure best possible product quality.

Responsibilities:
- Experience in Software Industry with Quality Assurance Process, preferably experience in Automation Testing of Web applications, Client/Server environments using Agile and Scrum test methodologies.
- Experience developing test automation scripts to cover the demand of the business and technical requirements.
- Well conversant in performing White, Black and Grey Box testing on both.
- Proficient in writing, executing, and managing Test Cases, Bug Reporting and Tracking Defects.
- Expertise on triaging internal/customer defects.
- Good experience in analyzing changes and identifying areas of the application to be Regression tested.
- Develop Test Plans, Test Cases, Test Scripts and Test Scenarios from business, Thorough hands-on experience with all levels of testing including Sanity, Usability, Smoke, Functional, Integration, Regression, End to End and User Acceptance Testing.
- Team Player, self-motivated, highly productive, continuous learner.
- Open to collaborating with other development areas.
Qualifications
Must have skills:
- 6+ years of Quality Assurance Engineering experience with hands-on experience in Test Automation
- Experience of working within Agile SDLC processes
- Strong knowledge of Playwright using JavaScript and TypeScript. Open to switching to JavaScript or TypeScript if there is prior experience with Playwright in another language. Also open to switching to Playwright if there is previous experience with Cypress
- Experience setting up and building continuous integration and deployment solutions (GitLab, Jenkins, Spinnaker, etc.)
- Knowledge of client-side technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript
- Experience with Jira
- Strong self-learning skills, ability to ask questions and a can-do attitude to find the right people in the organization who can answer them
- Strong Agile mindset with experience working within Scrum or Kanban frameworks
- Desire and eagerness to contribute to the success of the company and grow along with it
- Excellent communication skills in verbal and written English and Polish
- Ability to show ownership of your work, take on challenges and acknowledge growth opportunities, and demonstrate patience when learning new processes
Nice to have skills:
- Experience with testing data with Great Expectations and other such tools
- Experience in real-estate domain
