Job Description

Summer Trainee is a short-term paid internship, that allows you to kickstart your fabulous journey in the IT and Telecom world. As our Trainee you can get your first experience and learn from the best experts in this field. The internship usually lasts 3 months from July to September. Position: SDN / SW Developer – Summer Trainee

Duration: 3 months

Location: Poland, Bydgoszcz

Date: 1.07.2025 – 30.09.2025

Education Recommendations: Active student status in Computer Science or similar field

How You Will Contribute And What You Will Learn

As part of our team, you will:

  1. Gain general knowledge of Fixed Network solutions, Broadband Network, different PONs (Passive Optical Network) types
  2. Get practical experience with using Python for Web applications (REST API), React
  3. Work with Webservices
  4. Get familiar with containerized software
  5. Familiarize with SDN solutions for Fixed Network (Nokia Altiplano Access controller, SEBA, VOLTHA, and more…)
  6. Intent-Based Networking
  7. Work with the mentor and the team on your own project
  8. Maintain documentation in English

  1. Python, JavaScript, Java
  2. Linux
  3. CI/CD, Agile, SCRUM

Key Skills And Experience

You should have:

  1. Active student status (for at least one year)
  2. Good English, both spoken and written
  3. Ready to work full-time during the summertime
  4. Programming skills (i.e. Python, JavaScript, JAVA)
  5. Linux environment knowledge
  6. Object oriented programming understanding
  7. Minimum 1-2 years of academic background
  8. Team-player attitude
