We are an entrepreneurial company that has been active in the industry since 2005. In Łódź, Poland, we operate the zBiletem mobile app which helps people travel easier in 60+ cities. We are now building new, international solutions to improve public transport operations and experience.

About the role

As a Backend Developer at Infospread, you will join the team that runs a product used by thousands of users, and you will be at its core, scaling it even more. You will be responsible for delivering clean, high-quality code, implementing new technology, creating tests, debugging, and solving everyday challenges to provide user-friendly, stable, and scalable mobile & web apps and services. You will also take an important role in designing new products for existing and new markets and product road maps. You will be part of an international team at Infospread, with offices in Poland and Sweden, and you will contribute to the company's different products and projects.

This is a hybrid position - which means that it is a big plus if you live close to Łódź so you can join us at the office a few days a week. However, if you live further away but feel like this is the perfect role for you - please feel free to apply anyway, and we'll see if we can make it work

About you

To thrive in this role, we believe that you enjoy working in a small organization where there are quick decision paths and where everyone takes pride in the product they develop. We also see that you are comfortable taking responsibility and initiatives connected to technical decisions and the products. Since we are a small organization, you are used to a fast-paced environment where you have a lot of free reign but also enjoy working closely with your colleagues.

On top of this, we trust that you have at least 5 years of experience as a Backend Developer and:

  • Strong knowledge of C# and .NET Framework.
  • Experience working with Azure platform (Azure Functions, Azure Storage, Azure Queues).
  • Ability to manage cloud infrastructure (basic level).
  • Experience with relational databases (SQL Server).
  • Basic knowledge of AngularJS – ability to handle small issues in existing code.
  • Good understanding of version control systems (Git).
  • Ability to make key technical decisions on architecture, scalability, and performance.
  • Deep knowledge of security best practices (API security).
  • Teamwork skills and good communication.

It is a bonus if you have knowledge in building web applications in Java 8.

In addition to this, you can communicate fluently in both Polish and English, orally and in writing.
