We are seeking a detail-oriented, self-organized and proactive IT Procurement Specialist to join our team. The IT Procurement Specialist will be responsible for procuring various IT equipment, licenses, internet services, laptops, and other IT-related goods, products and services necessary for the operating activities of our dynamic tech-company. The successful candidate will be able to develop professionally in managing the procurement process from start to finish, ensuring that all IT purchases are made in a cost-effective and efficient manner while meeting the company's needs.

About your key responsibilities and impact:

  • Developing and implementing procurement strategies for IT-related goods and services;
  • Controlling the sourcing, evaluation, and selection of vendors for IT equipment, licenses, internet services, laptops, and other IT-related items performed by the outsourcing company;
  • Negotiating pricing, terms, and contracts with vendors to ensure the best value for the organization;
  • Processing and tracking purchase orders, applications for payments, invoices, and receipts related to IT procurement;
  • Coordinating with internal stakeholders to understand IT equipment and service requirements;
  • Ensuring compliance with organizational policies and procedures throughout the procurement process;
  • Maintaining accurate records of all IT procurement activities and contracts;
  • Maintaining databases of IT equipment, licenses, internet services, laptops, and other IT-related items;
  • Participating in budgeting, reporting, and analytics processes of the team concerning IT goods and services;
  • Monitoring market trends and staying informed about new technologies and products in the IT procurement space;
  • Handling vendor management, including relationship building and issue resolution;
  • Collaborating with the finance department to ensure budget adherence and cost control in IT procurement activities. 

Essential professional experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, IT, or a related field;
  • Proven experience in IT procurement, preferably in a technology-driven organization;
  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build effective relationships with vendors;
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks;
  • Proficiency in using procurement software and tools;
  • Knowledge of IT equipment and services, including licenses, laptops, internet services, and related products;
  • Understanding of contract management and legal aspects related to procurement;
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. English upper-intermediate or more, Ukrainian or Russian fluent;
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
  • Certification in procurement or supply chain management is a plus.
