The successful candidate will join the new Loyalty CRM development team, building tomorrow's Customer Loyalty CRM from the ground up.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about software development and technology, someone who wants to learn and stretch beyond self-limits every day, someone who is willing to work on innovative projects that solve real customer problems.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Discuss, debate, plan, develop, test, build and maintain scalable, resilient and high-performance applications using Java and Spring Boot.
  2. Work with Product Management and your agile team to flesh out requirements, really understand not only the what but also the why.
  3. Design, develop, and deploy microservices-based applications that are loosely coupled, independent, and scalable.
  4. Leverage containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes to build, deploy, and manage distributed applications in the cloud.
  5. Develop secure RESTful APIs for high performance.
  6. Implement CI/CD pipelines to ensure automated testing, building, and deployment of discrete micro-services.
  7. Implement monitoring and logging strategies using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, or CloudWatch to ensure system health and performance.
  8. Collaborate with your team and stakeholders to ensure high-quality deliverables.
  9. Coach junior developers, perform code and design reviews, and foster innovation within the team.
  10. Build the best loyalty CRM in the world.
  11. Drive discussion with stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
  2. 10+ years Java development, building production grade software.
  3. 5+ years cloud-native development (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  4. Self-motivated, curious, open-minded, resourceful, agile and pragmatic.
  5. Experience as a technical lead.
  6. Expert ability to discuss and find ways to reach an agreement and mutual satisfaction for all parties involved.

Skills and Competencies:

  1. Knowledge and experience developing Spring Boot Applications.
  2. Demonstrate knowledge in cloud persistence, including JPA.
  3. A solid understanding of common test automation frameworks.
  4. Familiarity with event-driven and event-sourcing design patterns.
  5. Understanding of the importance of DORA metrics in native cloud operations.
  6. Knowledge of monitoring and telemetry tooling.
