In the Warsaw headquarter there is also one of 7 Finance Business Shared Services Center. Established in January 2018, it is one of L'Oréal's most rapidly growing units. BEST carries out accounting processes for 14 markets from Central and Eastern Europe, and the Middle East. BEST consists of the following departments: Process to Payment, Cash Accounting, General Ledger, Treasury, Delivery Excellence, and Controlling, responsible for OPEX costs. What distinguishes BEST is, among other things, the constant striving for process improvement and standardization. Join us as an R2R Accounting Manager and lead our General Ledger & Finance Master Data team

In this role, you will:

  1. Manage and organize the GL & FMD team, ensuring optimal workload distribution.
  2. Oversee GL and FMD closing processes for all entities, including group closing supervision.
  3. Serve as the primary point of contact for all countries, fostering strong collaboration with BEST and local teams.
  4. Champion continuous process improvements and ensure service continuity through effective team backup strategies.
  5. Monitor and report on key GL activity KPIs to L'Oréal Group stakeholders.

What you'll bring:

  1. Fluency in English; additional language skills are a plus.
  2. University degree; ACCA or CIMA certification preferred.
  3. Proven managerial experience and strong leadership abilities.
  4. Minimum 4 years of R2R accounting experience.
  5. In-depth knowledge of accounting rules, standards, and regulations.
  6. Advanced SAP proficiency.
  7. Exceptional data analysis skills with a knack for insightful storytelling.
