We are seeking a seasoned Senior Manager Marketing Controlling to act as the financial business partner to our VP of Marketing and their team. In this dynamic role, you will lead the planning, forecasting, and reporting for the central marketing budget, ensuring efficiency and transparency. You will collaborate with marketing teams to optimize Advertising and Promotion (A&P) budgets, ensuring the right allocation across geographies and channels to generate high-quality leads at the best cost, and you will provide financial oversight and strategic guidance for key marketing initiatives, including continuous customer feedback, brand unification, and value capture.

Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate the annual financial planning process, including budget and forecast reviews, challenging assumptions, and consolidating data into a comprehensive plan.
  • Prepare budget, forecast, and Quarterly Business Review (QBR) presentations for Senior Leadership, ensuring clarity and insight.
  • Deliver monthly KPI reporting, including analysis and interpretation to support informed decision-making.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to standardize sales funnel data and improve the predictability of lead generation.
  • Optimize Advertising & Promotion (A&P) budgets by defining target customer and channel mixes, while aligning tools and processes across teams.
  • Work closely with controlling and the Lead Generation Factory (LGF) financial controller to enhance A&P spend predictability and support future sales growth.
  • Provide financial guidance for marketing initiatives, including cost allocation, project controlling, and benefits tracking.
  • Ensure transparency in project costs, advising project owners and coordinating cost tracking across central and global teams.
  • Evaluate and challenge new initiatives, prepare and analyze business case studies.
Your Profile:
  • University degree in Finance, Controlling, or Business Administration.
  • 10+ years of experience in financial controlling with strong business acumen and trend identification capabilities.
  • Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and the ability to see the big picture.
  • Proven ability to work independently, demonstrating self-motivation, discipline, and reliability.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in cross-functional and cross-cultural teams.
  • Flexible and capable of thriving under pressure while managing multiple priorities.
  • Fluency in English, written and spoken; any additional languages are an advantage.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
