Join us as a Cloud Functional Application Engineer/ Cloud Developer Engineer

Become Oracle Cloud Functional Application Engineer and help our customers to make well informed decisions regarding the implementation, management and use of Oracle technologies. As part of the Oracle Customer Success Services team, you will be a member of the international network of experts, who will contribute to global technology driven initiatives and innovation programs for continuous service improvements.

What you'll bring

  1. Bachelor degree in subject such as: commerce (Accounting, administration), business administration, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Software Engineering, Data Science, Data Analytics or related major. Or up to 2 years relevant experience.
  2. Technical aptitude: You have an interest, understanding and curiosity in cloud technology concepts.
  3. Fluency in English. Any other language (French, Spanish, German) will be a plus.
  4. Communication skills: You have an ability to collaborate and present concepts clearly.
  5. Innovation: You're open to new ideas and challenges.
  6. Agility: You're a pro at embracing change. Your self-confidence helps you learn and adapt wherever you go.
  7. Drive: You have a "roll-up-the-sleeves" and "get the job done" attitude.
  8. Resilient and capable of working effectively under pressure.
  9. Strong organization, negotiation, and planning skills.

What you'll do

  1. Delivering high quality results to Oracle Customers.
  2. Ensuring adherence to internal methodology, tools, and quality standards.
  3. Identifying required/recommended actions on Customer systems as main output of service delivery, based on own knowledge and experience.
  4. Understanding customer requirements and based on own skills and experience, being able to Design the proper architecture using the most appropriate products. Design a technical plan to integrate them and Implement the technical solution.
  5. Troubleshooting and solving whenever feasible, the issues the customer may face using Oracle Products.
  6. Escalating at the right time customer issues to Technical Account manager where relevant.
  7. Active participation on Services development.
  8. Active collaboration with other engineers in the team or in other teams, to share knowledge, experiences and others which can benefit CSS business results.
  9. Problem solving with assistance and guidance in understanding and applying Oracle policies and procedures.
  10. Able to demonstrate time management.
  11. Able to complete individual goals as well as work in a team environment.
  12. Professional demeanor.
  13. Learn from experts and contribute to bring value to our customers leveraging on Oracle's international network of experts.
  14. Contribute as a team member on customer projects together with Oracle experts and leaders.
  15. Learn how to design solutions using Oracle leading technology and Consulting methods, tools, and best practices.
  16. Demonstrated ability to communicate using technical concepts. Working knowledge of Oracle products is a plus but not necessary.
  17. Availability to work in scheduled out of hours operations when required.
