For our Wrocław location, we are looking for you to join our team on a full-time basis
Project Buyer (m/f/d)
Your Responsibilities:
- As the primary purchasing contact for PEP projects, you will oversee all purchasing activities within the PEP phase to ensure smooth project execution.
- You'll collaborate intensively with strategic purchasing, handling supplier selection, RFQs, RFI processes, and developing second-source strategies for secure sourcing.
- Creating price matrices, negotiating sample prices, and driving design-to-cost initiatives will be essential to achieve and maintain cost efficiency.
- Leading technical discussions, conducting interviews, and organizing sourcing boards and concept competitions will be key responsibilities as you work to optimize project outcomes.
- You'll coordinate with quality teams to define requirements, manage sample parts for factory trials, and facilitate a seamless handover to plant purchasing in Poland for series production.
Your Qualifications:
- A strong background in purchasing or supply chain management, particularly within the automotive or manufacturing sectors, is essential for this role.
- You bring valuable experience in supplier management, encompassing RFQ handling, price negotiations, and active participation in supplier development.
- Proficiency in SAP and expertise in data management, especially regarding the maintenance of material master data, are crucial skills for this position.
- With excellent communication abilities, you will be able to coordinate proactively with cross-functional teams, including those in quality and strategic purchasing.
- Your capacity to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, while focusing on quality standards, cost reductions, and effective sample management, will set you apart.
